    Good Morning! Had one very busy weekend. Many trips to the harware store to complete the birthday bed I made for my grandson. Even had a "Secret Tunnel" underneath!!! Finished off the weekend with a late night dip and Kayak ride... but couldn't go too far!:eek:

    The 416 weighs about 700lb empty. The 500lb payload is from the army keeping them light enough to float during water crossings(No rear gate). Iv read of people loading them full of rocks and shit and towing for hundreds of miles.

    Yeah I call bull shit....I have loaded them with WAY more than 500lbs and drove more than 11 hrs in a convoy and pulled them through a rediculous amout of shit. I have also had one fully loaded and 3-4 ft off the ground:eek::D But that was pulling it with an M1137 HMMWV :rolleyes: Got to love wheeling in the Army's dime and calling it "training":yay:

    It sounds like it might be easier to just bring the lumber to your neighborhood and serenade your neighbors!! Its going to be a couple of months before I'm ready.

    Allpro stepped up on their offer for me and I have ordered both bumper and sliders. If I bend em, I'll cuss later. But their shipping dates beat the snot out of anyone else out there. After reading about the guy that is 10 months of wait time on his relentless bumper, I'll be happy to have mine here in about 2 weeks. Which is also when my countersteers will hit US soil and begin the slow haul to the east coast as well. I figure I have thirty days to work as much extra duty as I can for some tires and then I will be done till winter on expensive mods.

    Naw, I spent 6k out of pocket to cremate my folks back in October and have been slacking about repaying myself out of their account. VA only allows for the deceased to pay for 2k of their funeral expenses. So, I repaid myself the four grand I could and my plan was all along to use that towards the truck
