    Nah. Another company hooked up a dh unit to a power panel wrong 440v and it backfed the whole panel. So when i went to hook up my ground to the pipe i was going to weld i got hit and again when i went to turn off the machine

    I've been tazed. I know all about lots of volts pouring through your body. They say your body only conducts about 10,000 volts, but they still hit ya for 50,000V

    I thought it was amazing how out of sync I was for almost 2 days. I couldn't walk comfortably, went crooked alot. I had to keep shaking my head... like a cartoon!!! That was after a 10K cap discharged through me and blew me against a wall. We were at sea... small ship... no doc... so it was what it was. It's best getting "blown" away by the shock rather than feel those waves! That current and grab (waves) is what'll make you dead! :eek:

    Yeppur... you are correct. I worked with a guy who had 250K pass through his knuckles and exit his elbow where he was leaning against a radar cabinet. Blew out his entire elbow structure... but he was fine as it was high voltage WITH high amps... so it sought ground quick. Another shipmate took 120V but with 10 amps.... almost lost him... had to be drop kicked off the line... then shocked back to rhythm.
