Calling all Virginians (Tidewater area)

Do they wire up fine to the existing setup from factory? Can I use the factory switch or do I need to install an aftermarket setup? I am pretty much dumb when it comes to this stuff.

I am just stoked about the bumper cant wait to get it actually go have some fun on a few trails.

 

I would say I would come over and help you install that thing just so I could see how it all goes together but I just had shoulder surgery on Wednesday. Do you have a lift kit installed? If so, did you keep your sway bar on? I am just curious if I will have to tweak something to accommodate the drop bracket. Take pics of your install if you can!

 

They should wire up, but they won't go in the fog light holes

 

They should fit fine in an aftermarket bumper right? Getting a Brute Force Fab plate bumper.

 

They will fit in the light hoop, but not the light holes.

 

Well what lights can I put in the recessed fog light holes?

any light should be able to wire up, u will just have to splice into the wiring.

and yeah, lightforce doesnt make a 4 in light that i could find so if thats the size of the holes in ur bumper, they it wont work. but if u have a light bar with the bumper, i wouldnt put piaa's on that. I do have piaa's, but i have already had a bulb blown and i have had them only a year with very little use. wish i woulda gotten the light force instead

 

how big are the holes? find lights that are the same size

What kind of steps? My sliders are at a Fastenal somewhere in the USA heading here.... I'll be unloading my steps once they get here... UNLESS the sliders will go around them!

 

Can use the factory ones? What I has going on, took a bit of jimmy rig but theys in the whole. You'd think they'd make em to fit...

 

4 inch. I think I am going to just get the PIAA 510's because they arent that expensive and I am spending enough money with this bumper and then getting it and the sliders line-x...then the new AR also so my spending money is pretty much at 0 for a few months.

 

What sliders you gets?

 

Mathis ante the only one complaining bout the PiAa's.....I'd say stay away too from what I've read.

 

my fog lights have been fine on mine and i use them all the time now since i finally got them aimed correctly. the ones are my light hoop tho is where i have had issues.

 

Ahh, day five of a four day work week. Feels AWESOME!!

On a lighter note, taking the lady and a group of peeps to BG tomorrow. Anyone want to roll with us?

 

You could always jimmy up the stock fogs. I used 4" rubber joiners from the plumbing section of home depot. Work freaking great!!
