Graduated from basic! Got stationed to CGC Reliance in Portsmouth, NH. It's a 210' medium endurance cutter that goes on 6 week patrols

I prefer to go with simplly lighter pulleys over underdrive. The atlernator and power steer pump are designed to operate at a certain RPM.

What are you trying to achieve?

NST makes a nice set of replacement ( OEM size) aluminum pulleys that cut down on the rotating mass.

I ran the NST crank pulley and an electric fan on my X-runner and it was noticable, but not jaw dropping by any means.

Peronally, I would spend the money elsewhere to get you power gains.

i did 3 1/2 miles today when it was 35 degrees it sucked ass but still made 26min nothing great but it was fucking cold

 

when we had the last meet at linwoods house i put a new 50w trs wiring harness in and blew a bulb instantly. i called them up and they are replacing it. thank god, it was nice to have a mod day and meet some more of y'all. what was the name of the guy we helped with the retro?

I'd like to get my diff breather extension done before the trip. I've also been told I need to remount my antennae. Its apparently in a very ishy position. Sigh, more $$$
