    Indeed...I helped put him in the Reserves. He seems happy and shipps out soon. Kinda wanted him to go active, but if he stays on the plan we came up for him of ROTC and college he will be good to go.

    So all you military guys that go on deployments often...what do you normally do to prepare your truck for sitting?

    Usually I bring my truck up to NY for my dad to take care of, drive, wash etc..but this time I'm putting her in a storage unit for 6 months.

    I'm going to fill up the tank, add fuel stabilizer, bump the tire PSI up some to prevent flat spotting and going to throw some steel wool in the exhaust. Have about 2,000 miles on the Mobil 1. Don't really want to dump it this soon?? Also removing the battery and leaving it plugged into the battery tender at home. Any other ideas/suggestions?

    I would put it on jack stands to prevent flat spots on the tires, but that is a bit overboard. You should be good. Think Ryan had his sit for a year 2 dif times with no problems.

    I had my old 370z sit for 6 months with super soft high performance summer tires with no flat spotting issues just bumped the psi up before I put it in storage. These Nitto Trail Grapplers are super stiff...hoping to not have any issues, at $320 a tire that would suck.
