    It was really impressive. It puts a new perspective on "old". We think old is 1700, this stuff was built between 1100 and 1500. :eek:

    Next time I go, I will have to take some vacation time and go explore the towns around. Florence is a 45 min train ride from Pisa, and it about 2 hours to Venice...

    I was there for work, so I only got one day to really to explore, and it was the day that I landed.
