at this point, i would rather replace the whole engine then figure out wtf is wrong with it will work on it sat and sunday and go from there. basically if i cant fix it by next sat, it will have to wait until may to go to the dealer and let them screw it up more. i will send the truck to them with out supercharger or apr x-1 installed just so they can have a decent shot at figuring out the problem

 

Anyone interested in a pair of inno bed bars, mounts? Also have a set of snowboard racks that work with the oem roof rack and a set of bike fork mounts. Let me know...getting a soft top so no need for these!

well i had a 2002 7.3 L on 40"s with 8 in stacks 15 in lift and biger turbo tuner and list goes on. i had bout 15 mpg in that my taco is about 15-16 my friend with a dodge is getting 22 600 miles on a tank with 40"s and alot cheaper performance options with cummins

 

If you aren't doing trails or real offloading and want a street and beach queen, the dodge would fit the bill. Personally I'd rather have my Taco for hunting and general off pavement travel

 

maybe. ill let u know. will be saturday. all i plan on doing sat is movin the a/c comp out of the way. cleaning that area up with some degreaser and maybe brake cleaner. tryin to dig out one of the bolt i snaped off that holds the a/c compressor on that i snapped during the s/c install. checkin the ohms on the crankshaft sensor and pretty much gonna wait until i get the new crank shaft sensor in the mail to do anymore. after that, its pull everything to check the timing again.

i love how light my tacoma is and handles real well off road i just really miss the full bed and a four door cab that actually fit ppl in it. my wife might take my truck and ill trade hers in. save me alot of swapping parts
