    See above
Does the por15 act as a primer or is primer not needed for bedliner?

Did you order yours yet? I wonder what the turn around time is on the cbi swing out. I just put in an order for a new rear bumper with a swing out but it won't be ready until April.

yeah, basically a primer. its a very good rust inhibitor. its not cheap but i think its worth it to put that as the base layer. read up on it

wont order one until i get back from TDY in may. plus need to get the truck running right before i do that too so i can actually go pick it up

rustolem red primer, rustolem satin black. Easy to touch up. That's what is on my front bumper. I rotolem primered the rear bumper and sliders then sprayed with bedliner. It's holding up. I may do the new bumper with red primer and rustolem satin black. Looks like powder coat but again easy to touch up.

    Chris,
I used Rustoleum bed liner spray paint on my bumpers and sliders. I have no complaints about it. If you are not going to powder coat, there is really no other option. Personally, I wouldn't powdercoat anyway. Too expensive and about impossible to repair any rock chips. Underneath the bedliner, I used self etching primer. This was the advice that I got from Relentless Fab. I don't know if this is more or less impact/scratch resistant than Ryan's por15, but I do know it is cheaper.
On a separate note, Rigid gives a 10% military discount. I am replacing my PIAA fog lights with a pair of their D2s.

Ryan, is a quart of Por15 good for two sliders? This shit is expensive.

so yes, u will have plenty left over. also, make sure u dont fuck up the can and lid cuz it will harden up after it sits

I would get at least two cans of it, keep in mind that you will want some to do touch-ups. Sliders seem to be a natural rock magnet....

Those Georgia coffees have been the hardest addiction to break. That was my normal drink at leat 4 or 5 a day for 10 years...even at sea they had them on all ny ships. I get to go to sasevegas in august and plan on stocking a whole ammo magazine full!!!

That Georgia coffee was a life saver on the pier ecp or top side rover. I really miss beef bowl, yakiniku and pepper lunch. Spent three years on ddg 63.
