    True... but the schools aren't cheap! First daycare... then elementary - High (private or not.. the costs are there)... then... COLLEGE! We took no loans... paid for JMU and VCU on the fly.

    On the bright side... both now pay their own way... and the fun has started all over.... 6 YO grandson!!! He's my reward!!!! It's all just so frigging worth it!!!!

    My Grandson is in a great private school. We are lucky enough that they are expanding the grade range at the same rate he's growing... so he will go to 1st there next year... and then they're adding 2nd - 5th the year after.

    Bright side of a sad story is he pays his own way as his father (was Navy) is no longer with us so survivor benefits pay his way.

    Congrats! Techoma hit the nail on the head --- It's the best and worst thing that will ever happen to the 2 of you
    Burry and I have a daughter that will be 8 (this weekend) and a son who is 2. It's the most stressful and amazing thing that has ever happened to us and I wouldn't change it for a second!
    And You Sir ponethousand are a lucky son of bish cause daycare eats us alive in the summer time since our oldest is out of school. I had to work a second job in the summer to pay for it..
