    How many coats did you use? I'm going to just order some online since I'm going out of town for a few days. When I get back it should be here. I want to paint over the por 15 with rustoleum satin so it has almost like a powder coat look. What did you use? Spray on bed liner?

    I used one coat of por 15 on both bumpers then like 5 coats or so on the bumper. Just kept spraying over and over

    I'm a fan. I give you 2wd guys a bunch of shit, but I'm jealous of the amount of lift you guys can get and the whole only having to regear one pumpkin thing.


    Plan is to camp out at Newport News Park this weekend. Most likely going to rain at some point so if you have a EziUp tent or something of that nature bring it. I'll have my fridge running and can snag a cooler for beer and food as well. I'll deploy the ARB awning and will try to swing by Michaels fabric and sew up some silnylon walls before this weekend. Pretty much just an excuse to break out the gear and get ready for a summer of camping and bullshitting in the Outer Banks.

    5 coats of bed liner? I heard that the port 15 is kind of glossy. I want the finished look to be more like a mat looking color. If I sprayed rustleum satin over it I hope to.achieve the powder coated look

    yeah, i tried to go thick with the bedliner. por 15 is way glossy, but once u start spraying whatever, u wont see it unless u miss a spot or the top coat gets rubbed off
