Ill check Productions pricing and see how that goes.

I certainly wouldnt mind having a mod day, but I wouldnt feel right asking for that since I dont know anyone and would only be in the states for a short period of time. I would definitely need a CMC too...its just ALOT of work. Im all about saving money and I dont mind paying for the work....just dont want to get ripped and need the work to be good since the truck is for my girlfriend and I wont be here to take care of any issues should they arise. Im probably looking at $9000 in parts and labor.

Hey what's up guys. Just wondering if anyone has a trailer hitch they'd like to get rid of. I'm most likely gonna be moving out to Colorado at the end of next month and I'm gonna have to tow a small uhaul. If you have one or know anyone who does let me know. Thanks

Anyone know anything about extending winch power cables? The solenoid box won't fit in the bumper so I want to mount it under the hood. Not sure what cable to use and if there's somewhere local I can buy it.

Yes. Go to the local hardware and get BATTERY cable. Or a thick aer of jumper cables and cut them up.

The little wires can just be cut and spliced.

When you do extend the power and ground, make sure yoy have the ends rerminated so you can use a bolt, nut, 2 washers and locking washer for the connection. Then some heat shrink tubing over the whole joint.

Alternatively, you coule put a fuse block in there to act as the connector.

Realistically, you can ground anywhere. Then just fet enough positive wire to go to the battery.

I have done this in the past and ecen recommended it to a couple people on tw that were having moisture issues. Also, you can put rhise decatessent/ dry packs in there too for the moisture.

    But, ultimately, this....

So true. But every little extra precaution helps.

Picked these up from a friend, who gave them to me in a load of scrap metal. (I recycle metal for extra cash.) Wondering if they might fit the Taco, haven't checked yet. (Taco is still in my best friend's garage until I've got it legal.) My friend didn't know what they came off of. Gonna see if they fit/look ok, and if they do, I might clean them up and put them on. If not, I'll probably sell them.
