    6" ProComp lift from the dealer, slow build in progress
    For a technician license there is no code. I have had mine for about twenty years but haven't been using for the last 5 or so. It can be handy, but can get way expensive.

    Thanks for the mod day. Sorry I had to bail early, family and their demands. Hopefully for the next one, I'll have stuff to throw on mine.

    Some of us were talking about the Harrisonburg meet yesterday. Even if the dealership keeps their doors open, with almost 200 vehicles... how will that pan out... plus there are no showers. I was thinking of renting a room from Friday to Sunday AM and using it just for the showers \ bathroom. They are very reasonable, and there's a couple within a few blocks, literally. (under $140 total for Fri - Sun)

    Would anyone be interested in sharing the cost of this?

    OR

    If anybody is already getting a room, would you be interested in "renting out" the shower to re-coupe some of your $$?

    hey guys :wave: i know theres a bunch of threads out there but i wanted to know yall experience with Goodyear Duratracs. Im in texas and plan on getting them because the wet handling is better than my BFG AT's and im planning a trip of there towards the end of january andwanted to know how the locals like it and if it will handle well when i get there assuming it will be snowing. thanks in advance for feedback!

    Don't worry about snow here! It only happens a couple \ few times a year! Very minimal and short lived!

    If you're from WA State or Hawaii... heck no. :D It rains here when it snows other places nearby so .... it rains often enough... but not a hassle. The bay \ ocean does a great job keeping the air warmer than inland areas. I've spent a lot of time in DFW area and I can say our rains are not like the downpours there! :eek:

    We have lots of meets \ mod days here. Pretty active group. We had one Sat and Sunday this past weekend!

    well thats good to know. i think i'll be traveling to richmond area and somewhere else small that i cant remember the name of. agree with you here when it rains here its either a sprinkle or a downpour. which reminds me i need to do the life raft mod for my truck :rofl:

    thats neat not sure if i'll make it for a mod day when im up there. wouldnt mind grabbing lunch on my way in though :D

    Richmond is 1.5 hours north, and they get snow much more often than us. Hampton Roads area on the southside of the tunnels (VA Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Suffolk) are "protected" by the warmer waters. It is not uncommon to leave our area... say heading to Richmond, enter the tunnel going north with rain, and come out in snow on the other end.

    No matter, drive without a lead foot... the rear end will stay where it belongs.

    Theres a guy with some aftermarket rims and offroad tires that wants to trade for stock rims / road/stock tires. Ill get some pics up. He lives in sandbridge and works in Norfolk.

    I'm heading out around noon... 1 at the latest on Friday. I do not want to deal with the bottle necks in our area on a Friday afternoon.
