Do tell the problems with the LCA skids please? Possibly save me from giving money to Phil (Loco) if they are truly POS.

Alright guys, I need opinions. I want to get rid of the chrome and I'm stuck between what color to go on the grill. I had this guys truck photoshopped since this is the bumper I want on my truck later on. which do you guys like better? I think the black grill looks more aggressive, but the red looks like a cleaner factory look. opinions guys? also if I went with the red, the headlights and corner lights would be blacked out with clear lenses later on for a retrofit. if I went black, id keep it chrome.

red. color match the bumper too! Do something not typical of the 95% here. Get that shopped and post another pic for the masses. I feel my ARB, and grill surround color matched looks great. I am asked all the time what kind of vehicle i have and get compliments on the color match frequently also. A cleaner look is what i am told. Pluz, better hides you in traffic from the popo. When a vehicle with a plate bumper comes over the air, most are looking for the BLACK plate bumpers

Re read mine. I edited after you responded and didn't realize.

Really though. Shop a pic of the whole thing in red. I think you will be surprised.

In the end, it is YOUR decision. Not ours. Wish you luck in the decision though.

Ah true. Idk honestly I think the bright red bumper may not look to good. You'd I think looks great because it's a metallic color that doesn't look bad if more of it is that color, but I think to have bright colors, you got to have something to neutralize it. I'm kids going for the black and red theme on my truck anyhow. Pretty set on a black bumper. Honestly kinda leaning toward the black grill too. I also would keep tht little filler plate underneath the headlights red too. It it photoshopped black with the grill but I'd keep it red. Not as much of I like it because it's "in" but because I think it looks more aggressive. The more I think about it, if I wanted a cleaner look, I probably wouldn't go too crazy on the aftermarket bumpers and what not. Idk. Too many things running through my head about this hahaha

Done it already. On mine that is. Wasn't bad, rattle canned the color matched paint I got from that online vendor. website escapes me right now. But they are the ones that sell the color matched paint in code for our trucks and most vehicles.

Same process as a black one when it comes to touch up. I feel it just looks better on a DD

Did you do the photoshopping? Just currious. Get the person to do the bumper for arguements sake. I am currious myself now.

Again though. This is your money pit, not mine. I am dealing with HCRB dreams right now... So by all means, get it the way YOU want it.
