    So I'm currently shopping around for tires (I'm set on the OME lift) and some guy told me 255/85/16 won't work on a 2013 taco because a 16 in rim won't work because it will rub the brakes...bs?
    (Ps I got a 2013 TRD sport, wanna get the 16" TRD trail team rims)

    Yeah that's what I thought too. The guy was pretty sure of himself too, really trying to push me on 17", but now all he lost is my business.
    He also told me that rear leaf springs will cause a stiffer ride and that I should go with blocks, total bs too, right?

    do not go with blocks. They are crap. They will cause axle wrap. I had them on a truck many years ago and hated them.

    Pungo off road, called them and he tried to sell me on bilsteins up front with adjustable coils and blocks in the rear...I was surprised cause I heard good things about them from a few people

    They can make a bigger buck off the labor on that, charge you for X but its a simple install. My guess. Anyways :eek: That's like ETA saying they charge more labor to installcoil overs than disassembling stock struts to change out springs. :rolleyes:

    No real 4x4 shops around here.
