Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Why not go with a Softopper?

You could build a sweet cage around it.

Had one, and I don't like the fact that you can just pull the snaps from the outside and grab shit in the bed.

    Not to mention road noise

Saw that earlier this morning. Gonna have to try it and see if it'll make it into the backpack, that'll save some weight.

More pics in Build thread. And you can barely see the BAMF LCA Plates I picked up from LOCO. Plan is to go with 1.5" center tube and 1" full wrap around sides. Still a lot of work to do but it is coming along.

    Okay silly but serious question:

I need to get a porta potty/camp shitter and one of those shower/shitter tents for my wife and daughter when we wheel and camp (they refuse to squat in the woods when out with a bunch of guys and after leaving the harrisonburg meet and flag pole, I discovered Jessica only pissed three times in three days (I felt like such an ass)). So now you see my dilema. Anyone have any experience or recommendations?

Walmart or any outdoor store should have the small shower/shitter tents. They're not bad and serve their purpose. Not hard to put up just like a standard put together tent.
