If you look at Map 27 of the MVUM, Shoe Creek is Forest Road 263 and it runs into Meadow Lane. From there you turn left onto RT56, follow that through Montebello and jump on RT608 and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Down on your left there will be a turn off to Forest Road 162 (which is the Big Levels Trails) that you can take through to Coal Road. Only problem is Forest Road 162 has a seasonal restriction and closes 01/10 until 04/01.

I'll take a look! I am putting all the trails on the MVUM into Backcountry Navigator just for the purpose of trip planning. My intention is to share it once complete; but I am only 13 of 59 maps complete at this point.

ARB compressor died this morning. I recall asking people not to all air up at once with it and then everybody airing up with it. Not the fuse either.

Guess it's time for a dual compressor and tank.

This is why I like wheeling with TW guys, nobody just assumes that they're going to use someone else's shit.

You sure it's dead? Btnewman and I are both running that same CKMA12 compressor and we have abused the hell of them with no issues yet. When you run them too hot they will shut off until they cool back down and once they do they kick back on. In Moab 2012, Ben aired up like 6 guys with his. We ran it til it shut itself off and then waited for it to kick back on and ran it til it shut off again and waited til it kicked back on and were able to air the last guy up before it shut off the 3rd time.

As AaronArf said, a tank is pointless on an ARB compressor since they can only run up to 90 psi. Personally I think a tank is pointless on any OBA setup unless it is huge or you have a valve to close off the tank once it is empty. After doing some math, even a 5 gallon tank at 200 psi won't do more than 2 tires, if you are on 35's I think it will barely do one tire. After it is drained, you are now filling up the tire and the tank at the same time which can add a couple minutes or more to each tire fill time.
