    Its a strap on. From what I understand, the buckle goes in the back as to not chafe in the front. They do not self lubricate from what my lesbian neighbors tell me.

    Pick up some cheap bars off of CL drill hole through them and then use l bracket. Couple of the guys from the epic WY/MT thread did exactly that and it held up to Morrison Jeep Trail.
