That's why I had posted here first, amongst my friends. I have a local driveway available, really just need the cutting tool and Joe Joe standing over my shoulder giving me shit at the first sign of hesitation. And it's within walking distance of his place

Ben do you have air? I can bring or let you borrow my air jig saw or I can loan you my 4.5" angle grinder but you will need to grab cutoff disks; I am out.

They're not. Warn is having a rebate. I can do better on Amazon unfortunately, I called them today. I was considering Smittybilt XRC10 but have read too many issues of solenoid water problems (no where under my hood for it either..) and don't want ot deal with the regrease.

I must be there! You can do it here but not much of a driveway :anonymous:

yep... low budget for a shop that is full of fab stuff. oh yeah and for those that know how and have the tools to tear everything down themselves and rebuild it. but still gonna be one wicked truck, along with the isuzu hauler they are making with the cummins and allison.

Ive been to 2 dealers so far for warranty work. One completely blew it off and said they couldnt hear anything. The second dealer said it wasnt bad enough to replace.

x2 with the lift comment. they will do what ever they can to get out of doing warranty work. they'll blame it on the lift and say thats what caused it to fail....even though its a design flaw.

no the wont replace it with the RIGHT part. if they do replace it, it will be the OEM, which is the problem in the first place.

if you want something done right then you gotta do it yourself. i was just hoping that I wouldnt have to tear apart my front end again.

Can't we just put an IP block on this thread so NJ DBS can't post?

4.5 inch cutoff discs available at HF, Northern, Lowes in order of cost. This is a dewalt electric.

I also have a 3" pneumatic that I have discs for but it is not as clean as the electric.

And I have an airsaw basically a pneumatic jigsaw that will cut through sheetmetal like butter and I have blades for it.

If Brent is up to hosting I have no problems bringing my stuff and if he doesn't mind may do my CMC the same day. I'm flexible on days but he has the rah rah rah stuff on his plate and you work weekends.
