Rack came and I'm not impressed in the least. No mounting hardware, and awning mount brackets, holes aren't drilled on the same center line.

Any idea where I can get tslot hardware locally?

That will flatten out once it is on the bed and welding begins. Looks like someone carried it with the ends unsupported.

So I ordered something from a vendor. It has shipped paid the invoice for the part....then for the shipping. It has been shipped and should arrive this week. This morning I received another invoice. They say it's for something they forgot to charge me for. Wouldn't that fall on them and not me?

This sucks. Let Brent and/or I take a look and see if it salvageable; I know this is not idea but it may bring you some tranquility and give you ammunition for a claim with PayPal and tcBob.

I told him $150 and we'll go our separate ways. The tubes are good and the horizontal bars are good. The awning mounts I'll figure out later, and I can get new base plates from Relentless for $150 shipped.

At this point I want to be done dealing with him and just get this RTT mounted or get rid of the truck and build up a AWD sprinter

Surprise surprise.... he is trying to gouge a member with price even after the fact.

he told me, when i bought the lca skids for my truck when he first released them that i needed to go ahead and paypal him an extra $5 for the stickers he included in the box bc he forgot to charge me for them when he was advertising to all his buddies out west to just swing by and he would hook them up with swag for free. I politely stuffed them in an envelope and mailed said stickers back to him with a nice note letting him know that in no way shape or form would i advertise for his business especially with him trying to get me to pay for the means of advertising. shortly thereafter i sold the skids bc it was discovered that there needed to be a complete redesign to them in order for them to serve any purpose other than eating up your lca bushings.

On a positive vendor note, VR10000-S wench, Warn wireless remote, and 60" hilift ordered Amazon Prime! w00t w00t :goingcrazy:

Jake, man I'd be pissed. That looks suspect as hell, hopefully its salvageable.

And forgetting to charge you for something...yeah if its a substantial dollar value that you knew you had to pay for fine, but if its some nickel and dime shit like that sticker issue...I'd tell em to eat it
