    parts and stuff

    yeah, that generation 4runner and pickup have no options for lifting. its sas, DB, LT or spacer. it is possible to get new torsion bars but hardly anyone sells them and makes them. i think OME are the only ones i have seen that make them

    Yep, Toytec sells the torsion bars as well (probably OME brand).
    I may still add those in after the bumper and winch get put on, due to the added weight. Without that extra weight, I've read the ride is pretty stiff and crappy.

    Truck is already paid down to the point where I don't want to take on a new loan or have to go through the financial kick in the balls of stage 4 icon for a t4r. Tacoma Overland Truggy will be fine considering I don't have to drive to work and have access to half dozen vehicles if I really needed one.

    Working on a design that will incorporate the finer parts of both worlds. The bed cage will serve as a RTT and awning mounting station and the flatbed will include a slide out kitchen, fridge box, and recovery drawer. Rear of rack will be for spare tire and plan on going with a longranger 35 gallon fuel tank and a 30 gallon water tank with pump and faucet.

    Most of our trips are going to be to the outer banks or North Maine Woods.
