Thanks Chris! Hope to go with you some time so I can get some pointers/tips on night shots... spent some time both nights playing around with it and never quite got the shots I was looking for.

They just separated trikes, two wheeled. I'm licensed for all... But wouldn't be caught on a three wheeled bike, ever. I refuse to even acknowledge can ams

I'll allow that...three wheeled motorcycle with two in the front...um no.

 

I rode one...pretty nice actually. ..alot faster then I expected as well

 

Anything can be fast in a straight line, I'll see you in the twistys...you ever ride a real sport bike ?

Varied... I tried all the way out to 1:45 sec depending on the situation. I'd take one, preview it and shoot again changing it up.

 

Probably not nearly long enough with the current moon phase. Also, what was your aperture set at?

 

Buddy has a hayabusa that I ride every now and then...ridden a cbr1000 and a few gsxrs...the can am was more comfortable tho...now my dad's harley....that's a bike

My training for my full had me ruining 12 miles that weekend. Same thing last year. Might as well run it since I'm doing that mileage anyways

 

Honestly, I don't know... I'll have to look at the pic data later. I wasn't purposefully changing the aperture, just the exposure.

I've ran the VB RnR the last two years as well, and also in prep for a full marathon... Remember, it is a training run and nothing more. It was redonkulous humid both years.... miserable.
At most I would recommend doing the first 6.5 at marathon training pace + :15sec (nice and easy). Then for the last 6.5 run your expected marathon race pace (45sec - 1min faster than training) just to get a feel for how those legs will feel.
