Same basic shit everybody else had 5 years ago.
Wife drove my truck today for the first time since the lift and the 285's and with me needing to replace the steering rack bushings....and.........more or less she wasn't happy and tried to ban the kids from riding in it anymore till I address it! Ha, she called it a death trap over 45mph.........What? I roll 70 plus all day long!

The dig was when she compared it to my old 82 CJ7 and the slop that thing was. Honestly it was all in fun and I offered to buy a new truck if she didn't feel safe in it.........

So I guess next time there is a mod day I need to change those bushings and hope that tightens things up a little.

I straight up told my wife she couldn't drive mine on the highway. Not because of the truck, but because how she drives...

It may not be the bushings, did you check out the weld mod for the stearing column? I did my busings on the stearing rack and noticed only a small decrease in stearing play :notsure:

I have not.....I did have the bushings replaced up in Stafford about a year ago but turned out only the C bushing was replaced not all three (whole other story there). That made a big difference but there is still a pretty decent amount of movement in the rack itself when I turn the wheel.

Hopefully replacing all of those and checking into the weld mod might bring it back to where it should be.

    Which shop?
Why does everyone hate on plasti-dip? I think as long as it holds up its a cheaper alternative to vinyl wrap

    1" leveling kit.
Hey guys need some help. I think my front suspension is going. starting to hear a clipping noise on the driver side whenever I go over any bumps. Any of you guys experience any noise similar to this? I have not really noticed to much extra movement when I push down on the front end, but I do understand my suspension is 10years old already. I did just recently put a 1 inch leveling kit on a couple of weeks ago, but the noise didn't start until yesterday (at least I didn't notice until yesterday). I also performed an inspection and didn't notice anything loose either.
