True, and they're way more reliable. Power on, power off. Can't really fuck that up.

Kind of concerned though, been messaging this dude on Facebook and he said he and his crew did the entire turbo swap in 2 weekends. Says he's been running it for 6 months and other than the turbo getting a little too hot while wheeling, he says it runs ok.

His chop chop on the bed looks clean though, so maybe he know what he doing.

What about propane injection? Supposed to increase power and fyel efficiency?

Hmmmm Turbo propane injection. That's pretty badass.

The bed is just bobbed right now, so I'd need to put the tank up on a flatbed, but I'm sure I could get Brent to weld up the frame for one for me and then do the wood plank bed.

Brent to the red courtesy phone please!

2nd Gen SC are nice. 1st gen SC's not so much. Low RPM/high load ping is unavoidable, most of the boost is from high temp (not air volume), and parasitic loss is pretty high. At 12 psi, intake temps are 300F and 30HP is lost at the crank

The turbo I have is pretty big and not ideal. Its chinese so when i goes Ill get a smaller turbo and should get similar boost pattern as the SC :notsure:

    Meth injectors?

They do some great knock off engineering, so you might be surprised

Looks like there's a guy on pirate running dual forklift tanks on a flatbed 1st gen. He non turbo though.

Probably get 400 miles out of 2 tanks on a turbo build if you keep boost lowish.

Chris probably has fuel consumption numbers for turbo. Convert those to propane conversion numbers and then determine tank size needed to get 400 mile range.

    Reviews havent been good :p
If you stay out of boost, you wont notice any big dif on gas milage. Cant really run on propane. You can get an E85 tune and run on methenal; you a ton of power but lose MPGs. Methenal injectors can either help bring MPGs down when in boost or allow for higher boost; which ever you prefer.

Are the first gens that under powered? I dunno - I have zero engine mods and am happy with my 1GRFE.

I hear what you're saying, but Randy engineer me some engineered shit to run propane while boosting.

I'm ready to pull the trigger on this bitch.

    Where there's a Randy there's a way.

You give me too much credit...my degree is in nuclear and systems engineering, so I'll have you running around town with a small modular reactor on that flatbed.
