I will be there! I know the place pretty well and once I got a feel for your wheeling style I can get you to everything you'd wanna do! I carry loads of stuff in my bed as far as tools and recovery etc. Theres a good two days of wheeling for sure! When I was IFS I ran 3-4 of the hardest (skull and crossbones) rated trails but I don't think the rating system is quite right either.. there are triple black trails harder than the skull trails. Its a small but technical park, which is what I like about it. If you've been to uwharrie unlike gulches it has views and is wide open other than that there wasn't much there for me once I ran Daniel and Dickey Bell a few times a piece.. Gulches is more like an amusement park, ride one ride and move on to the next... where as uwharrie you can spend an hour or more riding one trail

I have stones, and it should be early enough in the semester to bring my women too!

My Owb is a gould&goldrich. It's comfy and classy. It also comes with two mounting positions.

If you open carry, just be calm with the dumbass cops that want to disarm you after the democrats call in about a crazy person with a gun. The best remedy to an illegal search or seizure is a lawsuit. Pays for truck parts nicely.

Welcome back! Even if it's just for a visit

6 hrs from Richmond, 7 from Portsmouth.

I want to be in the RTT club and not drive to an off road park. (My sarcasm)

Also, this place is an off road park. Not forest service roads for miles and miles. You get there and go Wheeling, so if you add normal drive time to almost any other place within reason to us (except big dogs which is event only, or Windrock 9+hrs) its reasonable.

I've been to gulches 3 times and Windrock more than I can count, so forest service roads piss me off.

The annual January shoe creek trip is going to be 24/25th. So many of us have been there, I don't see a lot of reason to make it a Friday-Sunday thing. I'll bring birthday cake this year! I also have some cop buddies that want to tag along. I like watching the excursion work ;)

So long as I finish the work on my town home to get it rented, I should be good to go. What's the entry fee?

I am thinks my about hitting up the Starr motors toys for tots on the 6th at noon. Have any of you gone to it before, if so is it worth it. They got some easy trails from the looks of it. But it will get me out of the house and in some dirt. Might be fun to roll up on there heep parade with a bunch of yotas

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Ive been one year (not Toys for Tots). Trail is pretty lame but good for testing out new mods I guess. In fact, Clint is going to test his new front lockers and I think Phil is going as well.

I want to go and drop of some toys and hang out a little but its the wife's bd... she's not having it.

Im not going to post a thread since there are already a few that are pretty sure they'll come and I do not want a group like we had last weekend at uwharrie! Gulches is far too technical to be trying to get 10+ trucks thru a trail
