UCAs are a pain, did mine recently.. Coilovers and rear shouldn't be terrible.

UCAs are not that hard. Don't be afraid of bending that inner fender a bit.

One or two things modded... Check out the build thread
Ok, I would like some opinions on something. Is there an advantage of running either a 16" or 17" wheel with a 315 on our trucks? As in does the extra inch of sidewall on a 16 help off-road or possibly the extra inch of wheel help with clearance of suspension/steering components? Or is it all a wash and doesn't matter?

I would like to hear your thoughts or possible links to information on arguments for one over another.

Any help would be appreciated. I just bought a 2012 tacoma long bed and I'm looking for a used cap for it. I've searched every CL ad within 500 miles for two weeks and have found nothing. My truck is white but I can have the cap painted if the price is right. I use the truck for work and need to be able to lock tools and equipment in the back. I really don't want to break down and buy a new one. If you happen to see one listed somewhere I would greatly appreciate you forwarding me the link. I'll even throw in a free pest control service. Thanks. - Bryan- Rescue Pest Services (Chesapeake)

This is mine and you would have tool boxes even on the side. :) Do you HAVE to keep your tailgate? :)

I'm looking at 12:00-13:00 I think. I say just go do your thing and I will try to show up when I can. Where is the Coast Guard hobby shop in Portsmouth anyway?

Steve. I keep a pump rig in the bed 90% of the time and I don't think it would fit between the tool boxes. Thanks for sending the link though.

It's on the Coast Guard base in Portsmouth. Its about 45min from Va Beach. If you don't have a MIL ID Ill have to call the front gate when you get there.

Well I could measure the distance between the two boxes to see the distance between them and how high they are off the floor. Or you could also just cut the boxes out from the inside but leave the doors on to keep the integrity of the cab. Just trying to give you cheaper options then buying a new cab. :)
