Calling all Virginians (Tidewater area)

I would go with either an ICON stage 2/3 or an OME 2" leveling. You can find the OME kit on ARB's website. The ICON's are everywhere, I will post a link in a minute. For the price, OME all day long, but you won't get a whole lot of lift. These are coil over kits that come complete with leafs, shocks and UCA's unless you don't need them. You may have to get mounts or reuse your actual springs depending on the application. Give me a minute.

 

I will PM you the links as I am not familiar with the terms and use WRT outside advertisement. Tire sizes will vary, but you really are limited WRT full steer rub and shallow wheel wells. I have lifted Chevy's and Ford's, and one 2001 Tundra. I am new to the Tacoma game, but unless you were looking at a 4" lift, I would stick to the <33" rule (285 r16's or X75 vs 70r16's). These guys will all tell you something different, pick and choose what you want. No offense should ever be taken when issuing personal opinion.

 

I've been hunting since late October for a 2016 Tacoma with my specifications. Priority Toyota in Chesapeake finally found one. I grabbed it last Wednesday! It took them this long to get it because I wanted a Manual transmission. It's a DCSB TRD Sport 4x4 v6 Towing package in Red.

1st thing I did is take apart the grille and painted it flat black. I think it looks a lot better than stock.

I've been on here since late 2013 when I was buying my 2013 Tacoma (same configuration as my 16). So I've been lurking for a while.

 

We all say that in the beginning, then it happens. I'll just do one more thing.........

There's only 1 other cosmetic change I want to do. So my laundry list of changes isn't too bad.
I don't want new wheels/tires. Stock is fine for me. I don't want to adjust the suspension as this is my daily driver. And it already has a Tri-fold Tonneau so I won't need to buy that or a hard cap.
That being said, any suggestions? I'm currently reading the mods thread for the 3rd gens but there are 199 pages so it's going to take a while.

She really is a good dog! I've watched her a few times and she even rode in my truck all the way back from Moab with Phil and was fine with my dog in the back seat. I wouldn't even really call her a bully towards other dogs she just likes to play. Someone take her in!! I would but I already have two dogs.

Whats your budget here? With the level of knowledge on here locally, no need to buy a canned kit OR pay installation. Tell us what you want to spend and then we could probably piece together something for you in your price range. Most of us have had multiple "lift kits" on our trucks so we can save you some time and money.

Whole front end is shiny brand new... Firestone did the alignment 2 times to get it right. How f'ed am I?

 

Looks like they bent your alignment cam tabs because they didn't tighten down your cam bolts enough. Might as well just place an order for some TC tabs.

 

Brand new frame...fucked.
