Count me in. I think I owe John a screw driver, a wrench or two, a ton of cutting disks, and def owe him for all the help and time he's put into my truck.

TBH, if John hasn't bought it yet, Id be into buying the whole damn thing and delivering it to his door.

@Mobtown Offroad can we make this happen? I can bump up my contribution. What's the total with shipping?

Who else can throw in some cash?

I could throw some his way, I've never met John as I came to the state shortly after he left. But I would still be willing to support the cause.

Hey guys ..... By chance has anyone done the heated mirror mod and hood struts? These are one of the last few things I want to do and I have no experience with 12v wiring or rivits. Plus honestly since a split a don't have any place or tools to really have any fun doing/learning these things. Any help would be cool and I hope I can pay it forward EK

I know another 3rd Gen T4R guy that would possibly be in as well.
Did you see where he needed two appointments for me, one to measure and one for final fitment? Intrigued for the summer, have full skids on order by the way...

I have done both. Each is pretty easy, but the mirrors are a bit time consuming. I could help, but I will not be available until August time frame...

OK guys, I REALLY am moved. It's a slippery slope we are on here, and it's a bit uncomfortable for me. I can do this with the original plan of Dave holding it for me. I don't want to be rewarded for this mess... and now I'm all emotional too! We are on track to do what we need to do in the time we have. I just need to be smart about stuff.

I don't want to be a public spectacle, and I want to be able to chat with those of you I'm really close to without charity getting involve. I honestly thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart... but I can do this.

And, on another note, because I don't have enough on my plate...

I'm looking for a roofer, and an all around handy man for my daughters house in VA Beach (Brandon\Kempsville). She's going to sell but it needs fixing first. Not looking for freebees, just fast and affordable. It would be an easy roof job for someone who does roofs.

LRD Roofing did my roof. I had all the top rated companies over and got a quote from all of then. I made it clear to each of them that I was going for the best bid so I didn't get much bullshit; they pretty much gave an honest price. LRD (Chris I think was his name) basically told me he'd beat any offer and he did on his initial offer. For a 2200 Sq Feet ranch house in a day for (IIRC) it was $2500ish which also included a top vent installed and the chimney needed to be reinsulated. Came with a standard warranty and I've been up there a few times to clean the gutter and all the shingles were up to code (six nails, etc...)

I'm pretty sure the "roofers" were all illegal Mexicans (he paid them with a case of Corona and a check to their 'boss') but they did good work and were done in a day. Had a few nails here and there that I wasn't happy about but it was expected.
