Hope it works out...let’s just say we abandoned the baja bumper for me after almost a year. No regrets in that not working out.

I'm not worried in the slightest. He got the third gen one nailed down, so adapting it for second gen shouldn't be an issue at all. Plus they've grown a lot as a company since then, i.e. gotten used to the tube bender, is getting a plasma table delivered next week, etc. so doing the R&D will be easy.

Looks like they are getting more familiar with the bender. Interesting design, Im sure its quite unique with that look.

I really like it. Not so much the hoop up top, but that's what the owner wanted for his lights. The rest is bad ass IMO

Yikes, way more than I’d pay. And so what, drive it a couple years and expect about the same?
Why pay $20k for something you know nothing about? And I’d be nervous about buying it since the guy seems pretty ignorant to what he has. Did you talk to him a good bit about it or just shoot the shit?

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
That camera angle isn't doing it many favors.

The 3rd gen front grew on me but I'm still on the opinion that the grill needs a chop for a proper bumper fit.

Curious what the second gen rendition will look like with a flatter bumper line as I never liked the offset bumper due to the big grilles on third gens.

How difficult is it to install lower control arms? My cam bolts are currently seized. Dealership said they would contribute $425 towards the cost. It's not covered under warranty, so something is better than nothing. I've seen some horror stories about removing these bolts, and I don't have sawzall, lifts, or a garage so I was thinking I would call 4WheelParts and see how much they charge and either put that $425 towards their costs, or put it towards parts and do it "myself" (or with TW assistance)

The alignment is currently ok and the caster is equal on both sides so I don't "NEED" to do this right now, but if dealership is going to help pay for it I may as well get it done.

Depends on the mileage, but mine was at 70k and the passenger side was seized. Unless your rig is under two years old its typically expected to have to cut atleast one of them off. For me atleast I have seen 4 sets where the passenger rear bushing seized including mine. Hence why many upgrade when they decide to deal with their LCAs cause toyota doesnt have Poly bushings so the seizing will happen again with enough mileage and weather. Considering you are in VA, it will happen again if you dont upgrade to poly which I have a friend in Richmond who has done about 10 sets of upgraded LCAs to achieve what I am talking about for a solid price.

I just installed new ones. My alignment cams weren’t seized after 240k+ miles but I installed new ones to have new everything.
How do you know your cams are seized? Take it to the dealer for an alignment? Have you tried taking it elsewhere for an alignment?

I have had 6 alignments in the last 2 weeks. lol Dealership couldnt get it going straight so I took it to Berts. They showed me the bolt was seized, adjusted the toe to minimize tire wear, straightened my steering wheel (dealership techs couldnt even get that fixed). Truck is going straight now, but the LCA will need to be cut off at some point, if I want to be able to adjust the caster.
