What’s up guys, I’m up here in Norfolk for the next 45 days or so. I’ve got my Tacoma here, and not much going on. Are there any local meetups or trail rides coming up?

Oh shit I know exactly which truck you drive. I see it pretty often on my way off base. I know a couple nonners on the bear and I know one of the mk2s girlfriends.

 

Cut slider tubes flush with a sawzall to get them out of the way. Take a grinder with a cut off wheel and cut into the welds at a 45 between frame and plate. Try and get it to separate some then you can use a hammer and chisel or an air chisel to hopefully pop them off then grind frame smooth

 

Are u the truck near the front of the base (long term) with the flipped tie rod ends? I always see a black truck when I go back to the range over there

 

No I park over by the sector building or by the DV locker. I’ve got the black access cab with the tire carrier on bronze wheels.

 

Oh ok I have not seen yours around then, I've been curious about the one with the flipped tie rods.

 

I’ve seen that one too I thought he was on the HL. Never been up close to it to see the tie rods lol

 

Ya it's got flipped tie rods which I thought was smart to help with bump steer till I researched it. I was curious to how he actually did it and how it drove.

I think that’s kinda common on drop bracket lifts. I’m not sure.
