No worries! And yes it definitely does, I left a lot of my tools in San Diego, so it was cool being able to use the hobby shop. They had everything and we're super helpful. And can't beat $5 an hour lol

Yep, it was great. They actually helped me a ton when the bolt on my spindle seized up. They had every tool I needed, and $5 an hour

Hey all, new 2015 owner checking in from VA Beach. I'm not planning on doing anything crazy to mine, as it's gonna be used as a roadtrip-mobile rather than an offroad platform. That said, a set of Avid sliders and bumper guards never hurt... unless you're my wallet.

Looking forward to getting her decked out and asking you guys a lot of dumb questions!

Just fishing around to see anyone has the ECGS clamshell bushing tool.

If so, would you be open to loaning or renting it out.
I'm working up my suspension upgrade, and need the clamshell modi, figured I'd check in the local/semilocal threads before buying all at once.

Thanks! Speaking of expensive things, could I enlist someone's help with hooking up my Avid frame-mounted bolt-on sliders when they arrive?

I know it *seems* that I should be able to install them myself, but I'm as truck-dumb as they come.

Post up when ya get them. Someone should be able to give you some hands. Do you have jack stands? May help provide a bit of support too.

I don't have anything other than the bottle jack (?) that comes with the truck for tire changes. I also have alcohol-induced super strength.

I would talk sh!t, but one of my buddies is in CG MSRT. Super highspeed dudes, with cooler toys than I ever got to use.

I'll definitely post up in here once Avid gets me tracking info. Thanks guys!

Welcome! Like the other guys said, just let us know when you plan on doing it!

Also, idk if anyone else has had this issue, but seems like I'm getting a rotational type of vibration coming from the rear. I'm assuming it's the driveshaft. It only happens slowly moving from a deadstop if I'm turning the wheel. I have OME on 885s up front, hd dakar deafpack in the rear. I installed a carrier bearing drop kit. Plus a 3degree axle shim. That got rid of most of the vibrations from a stop going forward. However this new vibration is more rotational and not a shuddering one if that makes sense.

Easiest way to diagnose is remove the rear driveshaft and go for a drive. Just put it in 4wd and drive like normal. That’ll at least tell you if it’s DS related or not.
