I got a lifetime alignment at Firestone and never looked back.

The extra money for non standard UCAs is bull shit. I showed the firestone tech that all he had to do was maximize the caster on the LCA and lock it in. Dont even worry about camber. This is the hardest part on our trucks, especially if we want our alignment out of spec because they have to play with the LCA for both caster and camber and usually run out of alignment.

Next loosen the UCA ball joint and dial in camber.

He came back and said it was the easiest alignment hes even done.

Ouch. I think there was a welder on here somewhere. Lots of local welders that work at the shipyards who generally charge $60ish/hour.

I was driving around the far south Hampton Roads area (Great Bridge, Fentress, Sandbridge, Pungo) area yesterday and looking at all the trees, I thought there was no way there's NOT an off-road trail somewhere down there?

Anyone know of any trails, off-road opportunities in Dismal Swamp, Back Bay, North Landing, etc? There's got to be somewhere I can get the truck dirty.

Not that I’m aware of. Anything would be private property and you would risk a ticket.

Starr Motors in Suffolk has a course behind their Dealership. Its very Jeep based since they are a Jeep dealership. However Im sure they would entertain other vehicles. You'll have to reach out to them about usage though. There are waivers to sign. I have run my Jeep Rubicon there a few times, but I was there with a Jeep club. Some of the sections are very technical.

Lots of private land down that way and Chesapeake. Plenty of offroad trails if you don't mind getting your tailgate peppered.

No, fishing the bolt out past everything is the most annoying part. You’ve gotta unclip the wiring harness from the fender in a few spots to make room. Just go slow and watch for anything that’s in the way so you don’t snag any wires.
