    nope not really (see below)
the tree huggers that fight every years to try and get ALL beach access close for one reason or another. Most for dumb birds, but when shit goes down and a horse gets hurt or killed for whatever reason they ALWAYS blame "out of town" offroaders. yes i know that if your driving on the beach its offroad. also if for some reason something would have happened a ticket, horse got hurt or whatever. I am willing to bet that the headline would have said

Out of town, Toyota Tacoma driver runs over wild horse in OBX. and if your miltary that would be thrown in also. Remember if you watch any of the news around here they always stress things that are not always the main point of the story. ie Sailor kills 2 in car wreck, even though that person got out Years ago.

    ok im done

regardless if they are military or not, if they committed the crime then they did. And once again, who gives a shit, it was a damn picture that was posted only to show you guys his truck. Instead of giving him shit why not just say, "nice truck, but next time be careful getting close to animals, NC has crazy laws against that", and that could have been the end of it.
I personally don't see the big deal with OBX, especially when VA Beach residents go all the way out there when they have their own damn beach down the road, damn retarded if you ask me.

GAAAH! Thanks for understanding TEX, there is a legitimate concern tho. I could be a drunk ass kid doing donuts in the sand running down horses and feeding them hamburgers. There's not many beaches you can drive on and there getting smaller in these parts....A LOT smaller. So...now that I've explained that scary a$$ picture can we drop it?

I missed an argument about horses? Honestly, the horses are more of a danger to us than we are to them. Unless someone goes out there with the intention of harming one it is not likely to happen. However, wild stallions will charge and attack, esp. if you are a woman.

Oh and TexasToyo we go there because VA Beach sucks. No waves, too many people, dirty water etc. Most people won't go that far out of the way just to go to the beach but for me, that's my second home. I have spent more time on OBX beaches than I have at any of the beaches in VA.

I agree with you on VA Beach sucking. Cops are a pain in the ass, and over crowded as hell. I did 4 years in Hawaii, so i will never look at beaches the same. Hawaii spoiled me.

and you are correct, i do not have 4x4, i bought my truck to drag my motorcycle around and more room for a newborn. I personally dont see the fun in off roading. But thats my personal feel, you wont see a lift or big tires on my truck.
