    I asked this dude about transmissions and he was telling me about "stalls", said his has one built @ 4800rpm when the stock tranny is @ 2400.

    Sounds like that's what ya want Ryan :D

    Holy hell, I replaced the contacts in my starter Saturday... What a bitch!
    2 minutes to disconect starter from engine
    10 minutes to clean outside starter case
    10 minutes to replace contacts and clean internals
    2.5 hours to remove starter from engince bay and replace

    I had to remove the exhuast manifold and braket to get it out. I tried removing the UCA bolt but that didnt really help. what a pain in the ass.

    Stall is at what RPM the vanes in the torque converter stop transferring power to the transmission.

    yeah basically its like power braking to get your rpm's up with out havin to hit the brakes. its hard to explain but its for auto only. they go well with good gears too. i think its suppose to help u from spinning too

    my Trans am is teh same. had to loosen up the Y-Pipe to get it out and in the process snapped a bolt and created a exhaust leak

    I made sure I but anti sieze on the braket and now it stinks like hell when it gets hot. I figured after a couple trips it will burn off.

    A trans brake engages first and reverse. Rev up, press button, launch. Better not have to wait long, it's hard on the trans and it heats/shears fluid VERY quickly.
