Calling all Virginians (Tidewater area)

Means we were in the same place same time prob. Baghdad dec07 first time in like 80 yrs or something it snowed there. It will cool down in about 2 months for the rainy season. It will get bout 40 roughly here. I know we saw 25degrees in baghdad. Did this summer not go quick for you all?

 

Saw the map in the recent posts, so just dropped in to say this. If you are in the way of this hurricane, be careful. I took it lightly when it hit Puerto Rico, as most did, since it seemed like a really weak hurricane and we are used to this shit. Boy, were we wrong. I haven't been to every single state, but many ive been to, the houses are wooden and such, which was what saved us here in PR, the fact that we build with concrete. So just as a warning, careful with this hurricane, its stronger than it looks.

 

how did everything fare down there? lots of damage?
