    I spent 4.5 hours cruizin around the Southside from noon on. Va Beach oceanfront had the hardest winds... but Ocenaview had the craziest waves! Flooding all overthe place... downown Norf was a mess like always. Then at 10PM I cruised into the Riverwalk area (Chesapeake) to rescue a buddy and his 2 girls... I had to keep my foot on the gas at all times as my exhaust was totally submerged. Water got right up to the bottom of my doors. All in all... soooooo overhyped!!!! There's another one forming off the coast of Africa now... maybe we should start preparing!

    Just got off my long 5 day work week strech {12hrs each day}, kechting up on the posts and glad to see that everyone here seemed to make it ok without to much damage. After 28 years in south Fla I thought hurricanes were behind me. For the record I have been here 10 years, so no they did not follow me here. lol

    Got crazy here last nite. I walked the neighborhood this morning and we saw at least 10 houses with trees through them, so we got lucky

    They talked about how Va beach got it so bad, but we had 80 mph gusts at 10 pm last nite and all help broke loose, not to mention 14 inches of rain. I heard trees falling one after another. We are lucky that hickory went the other way.

    That tress is gone, but I think it is worse than the tree being there, the bobcat got stuck in my front yard:mad:

    so much for a green lawn.....

    Just painted my wheels black {paint} and relized I needed something to tie them in together so I started to make some step bars / rock sliders out of 1/8" thick 2" roundbar, here is my progress so far with the fabrication. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.

    They probably would but they are going on my 2wd 4cyl Taco, just for looks. Way over built for what I want but I got the metal for free from work and i'm a good welder {not my profession}. Not much pipe left. Just wanted to do something different, pics to follow....
