    Ohms are the resistance...when you bridge an amp, it does nothing to the load on the amp. The ohms load has everything to do with the number of voice coils you are working with. If he has 3 4 ohms speakers he is pretty much screwed. He can either run at 1 ohm by running them in a parallel circuit or run at 9 ohms in a series..
