    First let me say I have searched and not found the exact answer Im searching for.

    I just got my lift (radflo co's and aal with lr uca's) installed today and Im having a few rubbing issues. I have alleviated most with cutting plastic but have one tire rubbing the cab mount while the other does not. Then there is the slight wandering over 55 or 60.

    My toe and camber are at 0.2, but my caster is not where I would like it to be. I told the alignment guy I wanted it to be around 2.4 and he set it at 2.2 and 1.6(on the side that rubs the cab mount).

    Now the questions:

    Would the caster correct both issues? or...
    Should I crank the coilover up a little more and hope that corrects the rub?

    you will need to get a cab chop or a realignment. The lowest I have gone without rubbing the cab mount with 285s was 2.6

    2.6 caster?? I can take it back to the alignment guy for free if Im not happy so... the side with 2.2 caster isnt rubbing the cab mount.

    How did you set up your LR arms? Same on both sides? Did the tech use those to align or just the factory lower control arm cams? I would want to see your caster closer in spec from side to side. And the toe should be toed-in just a hair.

    Ok, toed in meaning closer to zero? And should this alleviate the rub if the caster is closer. He gave me some reason that he left it that way to keep it from pulling to the right?? Sounds funny to me, like he cant get it right.

    A lot of shops will set the caster a bit lower on the driver side to make up for road crown. But the difference you have is too much, I think. Ideally for tire wear, you want both camber and toe to be as close to 0 as possible. If the toe is set in just a tad though, it will help the vehicle drive nicer, with less wandering or grabbing issues.

    ok, so like 0.1 on toe and camber and then maybe 2.2? on caster both sides or 2.4 and 2.2? give me the numbers you would want!! LOL

    Sounds like the alignment is crap. Also what tires and wheel offset are you running? Could be an offset issue, I'm running 285s on 2.5" lift with no rubbing.

    285/70/17 on -12 offset with 4.5 backspace. Got the alignment worked on today. Got the toe down to 0.1 and camber to 0.1, with caster of 2.1 and 2.2. Helped a ton with the cab mount but still catches slightly. Drives really good with a slight pull to right but no walking. Will have a little more trimming with plastic and cab mount mod to do, but its ok to drive til I have time to fix the cab mount.

    Does it sound like im better off now??

    Sorry about your alignment/rubbing issues, I know it can be a pain sometimes! hope I dont have that problem when the time comes....

    I absolutely love the ride with the radflos. I just have to get the alignment sorted out. What size tires you going with and what rim offset. thats why im rubbing!

    well thats what I have and Im rubbing like crazy!! If it helps you I went right at 3 inches of lift. With these coilovers you could go up to 3.5 inches. It may be enough to allow the clearance needed, however your ride will be quite stiff. O and go a little under the max psi on those tires for a smoother ride.

    Thats odd, bc a buddy here on TW just did a 2.5" lift with 285's and stock uca's and he isnt rub that much. isnt even near the body mount. huh....
