Yeah, I don't use it on veggies either. The chile powder makes a weird taste on them... I am in the works for something that goes on vegetables. In due time... But I am glad you like it on the meat, as that is what it was made for!

6% Tint all around, Toyota all-weather floor mats, Toyota bed extender and skid plate, Python 991 remote-start alarm, oem cruise control and class III hitch were all installed within a couple months. I then installed Icon c/o's and Icon's 3-leaf aal with 17x9" GA9's and 285/70/17 Goodyear Duratrac's. The DRL mod was done, as was a custom rack setup similar to the org. cross bars. Blacked out headlights bought online, and a BOSS 1500 under-seat sub installed along with a Pioneer double-din DVD player
Definitely look into the Wicked Flow and the Dynomax mufflers (ultra flow is louder than Super Turbo (the S.T. is the only muffler known to make more HP)). They have the best sound, IMO.

I traded in my 02 Dakota Quad Cab 4.7 AWD for my 09 Tacoma Prerunner DC SR5 last year. I miss the v8 sound to, but to be honest, after almost 8 years of it, I was ready for a change to the quieter side for awhile. Also don't miss the gas tank! On the Dodge, I first tried a glass pack, mostly to try and improve mpg, it sounded good for the most part, but droned at highway speeds. After a while of that I switched it to a Magnaflow muffler. Much better! Went through 2 of those.

For the Tacoma, I haven't done anything as yet, still enjoying some quiet, but I know it will never be a v8 sound. Best bet is to shoot for the sound like from a 370Z or a G37. More of a deeper burbling sound, but still a v6, only not buzzy.

I'm also more of a fan of just drop-in mufflers and not cat-backs, as you get the same sound, and more money left over. If I were to try something, it would be a Dynomax Super Turbo.

I had a Hemi with American THunder series flowmaster dual catback exhaust....and now, I have a tacoma with a Flowmaster dual catback.

As everyone else has already said..you'll never get V8 sound out of a V6.

Any exhaust on these trucks is better than nothing - in terms of making it sound like 'something' (since they're SILENT from the factory). I like my Flowmaster....it's bling, its soft, rumbles nice (deep tone) at idle.

    V6 will never sound like a V8

I would be satisfied if I can find an exhaust for the Tacoma that sounds like Nissan 350/370z VQ engines. So far I am not impressed with how Magnaflow, Flowmaster, and Borla sound like.
