Its all I get on all my cars, ceramic. I go a step further which you may have also done but i get my front windshield done. I get the lightest tint which has the highest heat resistant and allows you to go without sunglasses most all the time.

I've recently installed 3M's top of the line Crystalline series on my front windows, at 70% (legal limit here in Los Angeles, possibly all of Califorina?) I HIGHLY recommend spending the extra coin on getting this stuff..You can definitely feel a difference in temperature from the windshield as opposed to the treated windows. I'm planning on doing my windshield the same as the windows....and yes I know it's illegal but you honestly can't tell I even have tint when it's at 70% tint. The back windows which are just colored glass will be done in the much cheaper SunTek CXP18, which I opted for since Crystalline only goes down to 40%. Hopefully should be quite a bit more comfortable during these hot summers.

same thing happend to me, I said wtf how if 35% tint on just the 2 driver windows considered tinting my whole truck??? I don't want the bs factory 22% tint with no uv in the back. I said u either give me full credit towards something else or I will give the salesman/dealer a shitty review, so I got exactly what I wanted in exchange

How is this a "Toyota" problem? This is a dealer/you negotiating issue. So many "Toyota" problem threads started that end up being an "owner" problem.

So question for you then... How do you like the whole front windshield vs. just getting the tint strip on top? I'm debating asking them to do the front with tint and taking off the sun strip I had them put on there.
