My buddies little brother just bought a 13 Tacoma. Took it to work this morning and a calliper was sticking so they replaced it. New calliper still sticking, and one on the other side is to. So I told him to crack the bleeder screws to see if they release and they do. Which would indicate probably a squeezed rubber line in a clamp or a collapsed rubber line basically acting as a check valve.

Just weird it’s doing it on both sides all of a sudden. I haven’t actually seen the truck, just giving him things to look for, I told him to check the clamps on the UCA and make sure some rust isn’t built up and squeezing the rubber line.

Just odd for both of them to be doing it.

Anyone run into this? Any suggestions?

    Hmm . . . none as yet, that's why i'm here . . .
could be contaminated fluid causing the hose to deteriorate on the inside, collapsing the hose.

Very well could be, I believe the truck has been sitting on the lot for awhile. Really the only way for it to get contaminated would be someone dumping something else into the reservoir though, which is unlikely. But has defiantly happened before.

Since it's both sides, it could very well be a master cylinder problem. 1st need to find out if it's the TRD OR electric booster or vacuum booster. Hopefully somebody didn't pour oil in the master and destroy every rubber brake part in the whole truck. If you pull off the reservoir cap and the rubber is about 50% larger than it should be, $$$$$$$$$$$$

Yeah I’m really hoping that’s not the case, kids first decent rig he ever bought. Is there a year where the brake booster changed? Or just different trims ?

I haven’t actually seen the truck just giving him some things to look for.

The TRD OR starting about '09 had the electric booster. All others had Vacuum.
