    Hello,

Yesterday I replaced the front door and dash speakers with JL Audio C3-600 components. I have an aftermarket KENWOOD head unit. I Will post the specific model in a few when I get out to my truck.

Anyways, now when I get calls or the Nav audio comes through, the sound is terrible as it only comes through the dash tweeters. I’ve messed with all the settings in the head unit to no avail.

The speakers sound awesome for music, but the speech audio is terrible.

I had a shop install the speakers and yes they installed the included crossovers.

I’m not sure if they somehow wired it wrong or what.

    thanks for your help.

Like above take it back to the shop that installed it .posting here about a aftermarket radio isn't going to help you unfortunately. Unless u find someone with the exact setup.it’s like finding a needle in a haystack .

Crossovers will do that, that’s the purpos. Can you change the frequency on the crossover? Also, it’s new, go talk to them about it if you can’t adjust it?

Yes there is a HPF. I’ve tried adjusting it. Doesn’t fix it.

Sounds like it’s time to go back where you got it. Sucks man, I’m sorry.
