And yes I very well do know that.:)
I just wish people could get over all this crap that doesn't count for them and just enjoy the truck that you invested our money and time into.

Oh haha alright. Hopefully this one doesnt;)

I have alot of my faith in my Tacoma. Partly because its transportation and something I enjoy working on. Thats the reason why my dad bought the truck for me instead of the Ford Explorer Sport Trac they were looking at getting me.

Toyota is #1 in customer satisfaction. After this is over, It will only make them a stronger company.

Toyota is becoming like GM, Too many cars in the brands.

Stick to the "best sellers" I.E. Tacoma, Tundra, Sequioa, 4Runner, Avalon, and Prius (?)

Leave the others be gone for another century.

Might be a good time to buy some shares of TM... buy some at 77 and sell it at 87. It may take 4-6 months but 13% return wouldn't be bad - annualized return would be ~26-39% (protect yourself by putting in a 6-7% stop loss and limit your downside risk)... just saying.

Sorry... My favorite hobby of the money making kind is buying and selling stock. I average about 800 trades per year (its what paid for my truck and it's mods). I was just trying to reinforce in a somewhat passive way, that you guys have some good investment skills. My very first real trade was buying Chrysler when it was tanking and Lee Iacocca just became president to turn it around. With money that I saved (less than $500) I bought this and Bull Run Gold (I still have that stock cert).

I know I made money on that but not very much. I remember the charge to buy the stocks was almost as much as the stocks themselves.

I know this whole rant may bore you but all I am saying that you guys on this board have the right instincts to be able to make money on your savings that would, if you start early enough, learn the requried discipline, you will be able to retire a wealthy man. Just sayin'

Thanks for that very interesting post! My dad has put my name into some company stocks. Home Depot, JeldWen and some others.

My dad has alot into stocks as well. I just don't know what. He doesn't use (?) them alot.
