So I went in to a shop today to schedule my lift install and the first thing the guy said was that on previous Tacoma's and Tundra's he has seen issues with the cam bolts on the LCA rusting and not being able to get them out. Along with installing the lift he wants to take the cam bolts out, anti-seize them, and make sure all is golden. Since mine is a 2013 he didn't think it would be an issue with them getting stuck but highly recommends taking them out and such as previously mentioned. Has anyone else had experience with this? Does this make sense? Thoughts, cares, comments, concerns?

He's correct. It's a very common problem. I'd let him do it unless the fee is unreasonable.

Okay. What do you consider unreasonable for that?

I put a lift on my 09 when it was only two years old. Took us an hour with a deadblow to break one of the LCA cam bolts lose. If he wants to anti-seize them for a reasonable price, let him!
