Cam bolts maxed out. Can't get the camber right. What could be the issue?

So I got my car on the alignment machine today just to dial it in as it's a second hand buy.
I did the toe angle right but my left front camber is still off and the cam bolts are maxed out and I can't get it to camber in any more.

I visually can't seem to find any damage on the upper or lower control arms. Are the knuckles/spindles weak that they can bend and cause such an issue?

On another note, I do have a clunking/squeaking sound at speed bumps from the front left.

Spindles can bend. That’s a reason for welding gussets on them.

What is the order of the adjustments that you are doing?

    Camber, Caster, Toe
    Toe, Camber, Caster
    Caster, Toe, Camber

You may want to take it to a shop with alignment equipment, skill and experience.

Maybe try a shake down of your front end to make sure everything is tight. Ball joints ,bearings all that good stuff.

Cars are cars, trucks are trucks. If you're aligning a Tacoma, you are not working on a car.

Why would that matter? The hubs are what's being aligned, not the wheels/tires. They are just along for the ride. (so to speak)

Dang, that’s a lot of tires for one truck.

I'm pretty sure if you have that much castor you still have room to pull it back to get the camber correct.

If you're working on a fully adjustable double wishbone coil-over shock IFS, what difference does it make what type vehicle it's on? I mean that's what a Tacoma is.

Are 18 wheelers cars too? Are jet skis boats because they go on the water...? Call your truck a car if you want, seems silly to me.

18 wheelers are tractors. Jet skis and boats are all watercraft. Tacoma’s are 4x4 cars with a bed. F-150 or bigger is a truck.

    Jet ski is a boat.

A Ridgeline is a car. Tacoma has body on frame making it a truck.

Congratulations on contributing absolutely nothing but a massive derail to the thread. Fucking tacomaworld, honestly.

OP: If the truck has been offroaded or hit a curb or something in the past it could be the spindle, they're pretty easy to bend if hit wrong which is why spindle gussets are so common on trucks that get wheeled a lot. Could be a mall injury as well, especially if you're getting clunking over speed bumps on that side. I'd take it to another shop and see if they can get it in case you're missing something before chasing that though.

    none, yet
Alignment guys get lazy. Check tire pressure all around. If they are in spec, then I’d look for worn and/or damaged parts. Any slop in the front end can contribute. When was the last time the alignment machine was calibrated. Should be yearly, yet many are never calibrated until they are forced to get a software update and the “Hunter” guy (or whatever company) has to make a visit anyways. Alignment racks that are not level can do wonky things, not usually camber, but...
