    All -

    I'm still gathering parts to do my valve cover gaskets. I can't tell what I need for cam seals. Are they the same front and back or are they different parts?

    @gunny1005 can you help out?

    That helps on two fronts, actually. I see the part number for camshaft plugs (11188-62010), but only two of them. Aren't there two front and two back?

    The second front is that I ordered that part number from Toyotapartsdeal.com and they sent a half-moon. I need to take that up with them.

    I believe you only have two camshaft plugs and they are indeed at the rear. If there are some on the front, I have not heard of this.

    The cam plugs are only at the rear - the intake cam shafts come out through the front. I wouldn't bother with the camshaft seals in the front unless they are leaking. I think Toyota did this so they only had to make one casting and use the same heads on both sides of the engine.

    Cam seals are only in the front, They should have cam plugs in the back. PM me and let me know what you are looking for and I can send pictures and pricing.

    he's probably talking about the half moons, those you can just pull out, clean up, and reseal with rtv or oem fipg

    No, I thought there were seals and half moons both front and back. It explains why I couldn't find the parts for the front.
