I honestly don’t remember what I used, but I have new 5w30 ready to put in but waiting on a filter. Drove 4 miles this morning before the oil light came back on. I’m going to change the oil and filter to see what happens, plus clean the OCV’s and filters while it’s down. Once I figure that issue out, I’ll switch to the other codes.

So here is what all I did and so far it has worked. Since the fixes, I have driven almost 100 miles with no issues.

    1. Changed the oil pressure sensor
    2. Changed both VVT Solenoids
    3. Cleaned both VVT filters... drivers side wasn’t fun! Lol!
    4. Removed lower oil pan
    5. Cleaned pick up tube
    6. Cleaned lower oil pan
    7. Used Castrol Ultraclean oil in 5w30 with a Toyota OEM filter. Will change oil and filter again at 500 miles.

My thought is that engine sludge created this whole problem. I plan on changing my OCI to 500 miles for a few changes to help clean the engine without using a “flush” because I see too many mixed reviews on flushing the engine.

Good luck. I hope your fix holds up.
