I have over the past month been having an alignment issue. It seems to pull with the crown of the road so right lane is a pull to the right and the left lane is a pull to the left. I walked out from work yesterday and I was parked in a different spot than normal. This gave me a head on view of my truck. From head on there is a visible amount of positive camber, but I need to take a level to it and make sure my eyes aren't playing trick on me. When I went in for an alignment I never received a print out so I really am unsure on what I have. I am already bashing myself for not looking into this earlier.

My second part of the question to figuring out my alignment has to do with my cam tabs. I got under the truck to install my skid plates and track down my issue. I noticed right away that the front passenger cam tab was bent with the cam plate almost on top of it (See pictures attached for better detail). All the other cam tabs were fine. After noticing that I also realized that 3 of the 4 alignment cams were at a 1 O'Clock orientation and the passenger front(the bent one) was at a 6 O'clock orientation. Now alignments aren't my strong point, but that doesn't sound right at all to me.

TL;DR Noticeable front positive camber, bent cam tab, and passenger front cam bolt being off equals alignment issues correct? Can I just bend the tab back and have it realigned? I will be install some gussets of sorts, unsure if it will be the Total Chaos or the new Marlin LCA Frame Gussets. Regardless I need to fix this before I put more miles on my truck.

(First two are passenger and the last two are driver)

From the second 2 pics, its obvious that the cam bolt is riding up do to the flat cam tab, this must be fixed before you get an alignment or it will just return to where it is In the pics.

Did you by chance bend the factory ones back at all? I'm probably going to do that in the mean time until I figure out which option I'm going to do. I mean I assume that just daily driver and no trail riding, they won't flatten again right?

no i went straight to the total chaos gussets. They are worth every penny. once you bend them back they are even weaker since the metal is fatigued.

Every time they are bent, they get weaker, they've atleast been bent once, now you have to bend them back, that's twice. It's not only 4 wheelin that does it, a small curved driveway, a rock in the road, pot hole or a sudden jerk of the steering wheel is enough to move things around if not tight enough or do not have a strong backing to keep the cam tabs in place. There's only one thing that's gonna fix it for good, bend the tab back, weld a beed under it and weld in a gusset, done for life, just my 2 cents

I think it can be done easily without "everything being torn off"

Yeah. That plan sounds like the best for now. I felt like I was starting to over complicate it and not thinking clearly.

Almost perfect timing to be a one of the first adopters of the Marlin gussets. I think that's what I will do. Going to bend back the factory ones and get aligned to last at least two weeks or until it comes in.

Interested to see when those Marlin cam tab gussets will be out to the mass with real-world output. OP, if you can wait a bit longer for the early adopter released, I'd like to hear your feedback! I'm about facing the same issue as you (and I wheel at least once a week).

I can at least weld good enough to tack everything on. I have a buddy that can burn them in the rest of the way.

Had the same problem. Get the bolts where they belong, bend the tabs back up and weld behind every one of them, realign and sleep well.
