I've been 4 days soaking, hitting (without damaging ends) the sleeves to get them out. Still no such luck tried a bit of heat, still nothing. I can't seem to get these parts without waiting for a week and trying to save $. I don't want to mess them up, What turned out to be a straight forward job, not a seized bolt on my 98, has turned out to be 5 days long and still no further ahead at getting them out.

Any suggestions are more than welcome. Would like to use what I have as opposed to buying new. Its all about doing it myself and not paying a shop to do it, now I am second guess it.

    Paul

Get out the sawzall and buy new ones, it sucks but sometimes its the only option. Fought a few days on one side of my '97 before finally giving up and cutting them out. Weird part was the other side came apart no problem.

I'm thinking this is going to be my only option. I'm going to give it one more try tomorrow, I'm being optimistic.
    Cheers

When doing these things I always plan on needing new hardware and have it on hand if things go good and I don`t need it there is always the next time.
