Just going to get this out of the way…don’t have a lot of experience with the Tacoma and know just enough to look and sound stupid at times:) Just bought a 2019 Off-road and the previous owner had added larger tires 265/75r16 but that was it. Visually you can see some positive camber and personally, she is hard to look at! Tracks well and tires don’t show much wear but they are pretty new. Took it to get it aligned and the shop said it was good other than a few minor changes. Alignment is tricky from what I researched and shop says it’s aligned and it is. Is it possible to straighten them out so visually it doesn’t give me heartburn without throwing everything else out of whack? I have been told I would be choosing either it being aligned or looking good but I probably can’t have both without throwing money at? If anyone can help me get my learn on, I would appreciate it.

If its not lifted, stock wheels and no damage I don't see why they couldn't dial in 0 camber and probably not lose any caster. Some shops just get it in the window and call it good, though. Going by the Toe being the only thing that changed, I assume they just adjusted that tie rod end in a turn and called it good enough.

A lot of shops/techs will just put the numbers in the green and call it good. There should be no reason why it can't be aligned to have no camber or even a couple tenth's negative camber and still keep the rest of the numbers in check, just requires a shop and tech that knows what they're doing and is willing to do the slightly custom alignment.
Personally I always spec Camber slightly negative to max of 0* and push caster as much as possible, then set toe to spec. And I have a couple local shops more than willing to do it and at no extra cost.
The higher caster helps with tracking straight and return to center feel after turns (caster will not affect tire wear, just driving 'feel').

That is good to hear, thanks! So hard to find good info these days. Time to head to the shop and see what they say about it. While I was asking around I did hear of a small alignment shop that specializes in trucks and Jeep’s and I heard good things about them. If my shop gives me trouble , it might be time to move on!

Many of those techs at chain places like Firestone are just processing the work order, might not even know what you want unless someone tells them. It never hurts to throw in lunch or something for the tech.
