the 10 inch would require shock hoops they might be a little short to run off the cage? 12 inch would be plenty long to do off the cage

im ahead of my self on every project i do:D

and i know its not a need, but it will make the ride better, and it will dissipate the heat better cause its a longer shock.

lol do you not put it in your details your 18 for a reason? lol

exactly, and i just said 12 cause ballers run 12s. but i really want the dual rate and you only need a 10 to do that, ill probably go that route, its just jumbling around in my mind right now.

my engine cage is going to be done after new years so ill be running it off my engine cage, i am pretty sure i can run 12s off of it pretty easily.

There's pics of it on the previous page, the bolt came out hollow sleeve and the sleeve is froze in there. We took a sawzall to it, but now I'm at harbor freight waiting in line for more sawzall blades:)

heres a picture of the crack that you couldnt see.. inside the coil bucket on the top, where its clean is where the crack is, right on the 90 degree angle

i can see completely through the crack BTW, pic makes it look small but everywhere its clean theres a crack that whole length
and decided to take a sawzall to the lowers to get them off. after a couple hours with a BFH and a air hammer you get tired of that shit. i need to go get even MORE blades.

i think im gonna need to cut one off the other side too.

joy of working on a truck with 170k miles

the cracks in your coil bucket are from the suspension not being strapped. those 3 bolts act as the limit strap when the suspension fully droops when you air the truck out

That crack will probably be okay if you just drill/weld over it (and grind it smooth) try and close the gap making the plates touch before you weld it so everything lines up, and you'll have the pinch plates on there for extra support. As well as Matt pointed out, with Limit straps on there they'll take the load from full droop instead of it being on the C/O fulling extending.

See what I mean:cool: Prep is very crucial for wheelin' not matter what you do, I've seen guys get to the trail and not have there 4wd working and all sorts of shit. One more trip for you and well you probably would've had a floating tranny.
